Jet skiing is the most popular water sports add-on for Dubai yacht charters. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of speeding across the warm Gulf waters with the Dubai skyline as your backdrop. Sessions typically last 30 minutes per jet ski and can be shared or individual depending on your preference.
Jet skiing is suitable for most adults regardless of prior experience. Our instructors provide a quick safety briefing before you head out, and the calm inshore waters near the marina make it a safe and enjoyable experience. Jet skis are available from approximately AED 350 for 30 minutes.
Flyboarding — The Ultimate Adrenaline Rush
If you’ve ever wanted to experience what it feels like to fly, flyboarding is your answer. Using water pressure from a jet ski engine, a flyboard propels you up to 10 metres above the water. You can hover, dive, twist, and spin — all while your friends watch from the yacht deck cheering you on.
Flyboarding requires no prior experience but does need a reasonable level of physical fitness. Our certified instructors will guide you through the basics during a poolside session before you take to the open water. Sessions are available from approximately AED 500 per person.
Banana Boat Rides — Group Fun for Everyone
For groups and families, nothing beats a banana boat ride for sheer fun and laughter. The inflatable banana-shaped tube seats 4 to 6 riders and is towed behind a speedboat at exhilarating speed. The goal — officially, at least — is to stay on. The reality, and the best part, is the spectacular wipeouts that everyone on the yacht deck will be photographing.
Banana boat rides are suitable for all ages including children (minimum height 1.2m applies) and require no special skills. Sessions are available from approximately AED 250 per boat per round.
Donut Rides — A Smooth Alternative
Similar to banana boat rides but slightly gentler, donut rides use a large circular inflatable tube towed at moderate speed. They’re perfect for guests who want the thrill of water towable rides without the almost-certain guarantee of falling off that comes with banana boats.
Donut rides are especially popular with children and guests who are less confident in the water. They’re available from approximately AED 250 per tube per session.
Stand-Up Paddleboarding — Peaceful Exploration
For a completely different pace, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) offers a peaceful and meditative way to explore the waters around your anchored yacht. Glide across the crystal-clear Gulf waters, spot fish through the surface, and take in the Dubai skyline from a completely unique perspective — standing on the water itself.
SUP boards are included at no extra charge during swimming stops on many of our charters. They’re suitable for all fitness levels and ages, and our crew will help any beginners find their balance.
Snorkelling — Discover Dubai’s Marine Life
Dubai’s coastal waters are home to a surprising variety of marine life including tropical fish, sea turtles, rays, and occasional dolphin sightings. During swimming stops, snorkelling equipment is available to help you explore beneath the surface of the turquoise Gulf waters.
Basic snorkelling equipment including mask, snorkel, and fins is provided at no extra charge. The clear warm waters around Palm Jumeirah and offshore areas provide excellent visibility for beginners and experienced snorkellers alike.
How to Book Water Sports with Your Charter
Adding water sports to your yacht charter is simple. When you contact us to book your charter via WhatsApp, just mention which water sports activities you’d like to include. We’ll arrange everything and provide a combined quote covering the charter and all add-ons.
Water sports are subject to sea conditions and weather. Our crew will always prioritise safety and will advise if conditions make a particular activity inadvisable on the day. In the rare event that activities need to be cancelled due to weather, no charges apply for those specific items.
